The BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe lands in Geneva
The big news from BMW at the Geneva Motor Show has been the arrival of the production version of the new X4, rather overshadowing the European debut of the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe. Which is a shame. It’s a shame because the 4 Series Gran Coupe is a very good looking car – as is its big brother, the 6 Series Gran Coupe – even if we struggle to see how BMW are going to manage to differentiate it sufficiently from the new 3 Series saloon.
MG Icon SUV heading for Beijing
The MG Icon – a compact SUV Crossover – has been revealed ahead of a debut at the Beijing Motor Show. Men with beards and pipes will be dismayed at the news that there is going to be an MG SUV, but there is and it’s the MG Icon – which might be setting the bar a but high. Looking like a cross between and MGB GT and a Juke, the MG Icon is expected to share a platform with the MG5 and MG6 and be powered by the 1.5 litre four-pot SAIC used in the Chinese versions of the MG and Roewe.
The Citroen DS5 goes on sale in the UK in April
After a public debut at Top Gear Live in November, the Citroen DS5 is ready for UK launch. Price & specs – starts at £22,400. It’s getting on for three years since we first reported that the Hypnos Concept would arrive as the Citroen DS5, and that there would be a hybrid Citroen DS5 by 2011.
